We intend to develop innovative solutions to reduce carbon pollution and believe that engagement and input from the community are key roles in this process. Please feel free to invite any groups you know of that are doing work in those districts. there will be a second round of community meetings which will be open to the public.

DCAC wants to ensure that Detroit is more livable and resilient in the face of climate change. Our approach to climate change is through an environmental justice lens. The Detroit Climate Action Plan is an opportunity for Detroit to come back in a way that is built on good paying jobs that go hand in hand with clean neighborhoods, better health, strong city services and lower costs for businesses and residents.
